Photonics investigates how to control and manipulate the properties of light down to the nanometer scale. Within the FNIP program we will explore how photonics is advancing the design and the fabrication of optical components and systems.

T2 |Microscopy
Fluorescence microscopy reveals the structure and function of specific players within and between cells with an optical and live-compatible approach. During the FNIP events we will investigate how fluorescence techniques combined with other tools are improving 3D imaging.

T3 |Software
Image processing methods are a family of algorithms developed to extract and analyze features of interest from digital images. The FNIP community will explore how to perform neural activity analysis and how to benchmark functional imaging methods.
